Q.1 : Who can become a Crown Captain?
Ans. Selected karyakartas who have demonstrated dedication, astuteness and vigour in their functioning at their respective workplaces, and who have done a minimum of ₹ 5,000/- NCC business in the last 2 financial years, qualify as Crown Captains. Also, all those who have been engaged by Sahara on a retainer or salaried basis can be a Crown Captain. They will get the benefit of having Security Deposit of ₹ 10,000/- waived which will be adjusted from their future earnings through WINDS.

Q.2 : How much is the Security Deposit to become a Crown Captain and if there is an option to adjust this against future earnings, how will it be done?
Ans. The opportunity to become a Crown Captain is only for select field and office workers of Sahara. This liability-free business proposition is being extended to chosen Karyakartas to secure their future and ensure lifelong income. All Crown Captains will get the benefit of having the upfront Security Deposit of ₹ 10,000/- waived. In lieu of this waiver, ₹ 9,000/- will be adjusted against the earnings of the Crown Captain which has to be achieved within 90 days and will be retained by WINDS. The Crown Captain can start withdrawing/utilizing earnings once this amount is adjusted. Here ₹ 9,000/- is being retained by WINDS because the Crown Captain is his own introducer under this special facility, hence 10% of the security deposit has been given to him as a discount. Once the amount of ₹ 9000 has been recovered by WINDS the Crown Captain can withdraw future earnings.

Q.3 : What is the minimum requirement for a Crown Captain to receive his earnings?
Ans. A Crown Captain has to appoint a minimum of 3 Senior Captains within 90 Days as well as aggregate ₹ 9000/- in earnings which will be adjusted by WINDS against the waived Security Deposit of ₹ 10,000/- (as described above).

Q.4 : What is the Security Deposit amount to become a Senior Captain?
Ans. ₹10,000/- is the upfront Security Deposit amount to be paid for one to become a Senior Captain.

Q.5 : What will be the main responsibilities of the Crown Captain?
Ans. The main responsibilities of a CROWN Captain is to appoint multiple Senior Captains under them so that they themselves get more opportunities to earn through referral commission on appointment and Overriding Commission (ORC) through businesses of those appointed Senior Captains. They must identify and appoint more WINDS Partners and ensure that the appointed Partners are able to increasingly transact through WINDS so that the Captain can earn Commission from every transaction. They must refer and add on/tag WINDS Patrons and ensure that they shop as much as possible through WINDS Partners. Also, they must ensure that the Senior Captains referred by them add on/tag more WINDS Senior Captains, WINDS Partners and WINDS Patrons

Q.6 : What is the minimum number of Senior Captains a Crown Captain has to introduce?
Ans. It is mandatory for the Crown Captain to introduce at least 3 Senior Captains, within 90 days. The more Senior Captains he introduces and gets productivity from, the more earnings he will get in the form of referral and overriding commissions.

Q.7 : If a Crown Captain introduces 10 Senior Captains in a month, how much commission would he earn?
Ans. A Crown Captain will earn 10% of ₹ 10,000/- which is the Security Deposit for every Senior Captain he introduces. So, if he introduces 10 Senior Captains, he stands to earn ₹ 10,000/ (₹ 1000/- x 10).

Q.8 : If a Senior Captain introduces another Senior Captain, how much referral commission will he get?
Ans. In such a situation, the Senior Captain will get 10% of the Security Deposit amount, which will be 10% of ₹ 10,000/ i.e. ₹ 1000/- for every other Senior Captain.

Q.9 : If the WINDS Patron added by the Crown Captain/Senior Captain makes a purchase from the introduced WINDS Partner through the same Crown Captain, what percentage of the WINDS' income on the said purchase will be earned as commission by the Crown Captain?
Ans. If both the transacting Partner and the Patron have been introduced by the same Captain, then the Captain will get 20% of WINDS' earnings out of the total business done between them [the Partner and the Patron].

Q.10 : If a purchase is made through a WINDS Patron referred by one Crown Captain/Senior Captain from a WINDS Partner added by another Crown Captain, how will WINDS earnings from the sale be distributed?
Ans. If a WINDS Patron appointed by a Crown Captain/Senior Captain makes a purchase from a WINDS Partner appointed by another such Captain then both Captains stand to earn 10% each of WINDS' earnings. (i.e. If a WINDS Patron tagged by Captain A shops through a WINDS Partner recruited by Captain B, both Captain A and Captain B would be entitled to 10% of WINDS' earnings.)

Q.11 : How much Overriding Commission will Crown Captains/Senior Captains get based on the business done through their recruited Senior Captains?
Ans. A Crown/ Senior Captain will earn 5% of recurring WINDS’ earnings (excluding referral commission) of every Senior Captain directly recruited by them as Overriding Commission (ORC) if that referred Senior Captain has on-boarded 20 Partners and 100 Patrons or more. For Crown Captains and Senior Captains who have on-boarded fewer than 20 Partners and fewer than 100 Patrons, the ORC they earn would be 3.75% of the recurring WINDS’ earnings.

Q.12 : If a purchase is made through a WINDS Patron referred by one Senior Captain from a WINDS Partner added by another Senior Captain, how will the Overriding Commission (ORC) from the sale be distributed?
Ans. 2.5% ORC will go to the introducer of the first Senior Captain and 2.5% ORC will go to the introducer of the second Senior Captain.

Q.13 : What should be the educational qualification or the business experience of one to become a Senior Captain?
Ans. There is no requirement of any educational qualification or prior business experience for anybody to become a Senior Captain.

Q.14 : What is the lock-in period of the Security Deposit for one to become a Senior Captain?
Ans. 3 Years.

Q.15 : Who can refer a Patron?
Ans. Patrons may be referred to WINDS by the Crown Captains, the Senior Captains or by other Patrons.

Q.16 : Can the same person be Patron and Partner and Crown/Senior Captain of WINDS?
Ans. Yes. One person can perform all these roles.

Q.17 : What will happen if a Crown Captain does not introduce 3 Senior Captains within 3 months and also does not achieve the target of the stipulated earnings of ₹ 9,000/- in the transactions between Partner and Patrons.
Ans. In such a situation, if the Crown Captain has introduced one or two Senior Captains, they will directly be tagged to WINDS and the earnings accrued by him till that time will be forfeited.

Q.1 : Who can be a WINDS Partner?
Ans. Any well-established reputed business in the market renowned for its goods or services; an approachable, easily accessible outlet or business; a business which will adhere to the terms and conditions as laid down by WINDS; a business which is willing to pay the WINDS Service Charge applicable to their respective categories on the transactions done through WINDS.

Q.2 : What does WSP stand for?
Ans. WSP stands for WINDS Service Points. For every 1 Rupee given to WINDS as Service charge by the WINDS PARTNER, 1 WSP will be earned by them.

Q.3 : How many WSP will a WINDS Partner have to generate to participate in the monthly lucky draw?
Ans. Every 5000 WSP accumulated make for a coupon which entitles the Partner to participate in the Lucky Draw. If a partner pays ₹ 20,000 as service charge, he accumulates 20,000 WSP and thus gets 4 coupons all of which will be added in the draw.

Q.4 : How is WINDS unique, and how will the Partners benefit from WINDS?
Ans. The platform of WINDS is truly unique and beneficial for shopkeepers. WINDS is the World's largest Rewards and Happiness programme for both the Customers and the Sellers through which the Patrons, who are the Customers, stand to win prizes worth CRORES every month on their everyday purchases and this benefit motivates them to shop at Partners or Partner Outlets registered with WINDS. Therefore, it is a huge opportunity for the shopkeepers to not only increase the Customer traffic at their respective outlets by joining WINDS, but as a Partner, also to become a part of the World's Largest Rewards programme, thereby getting the chance of winning CRORES of rupees every month. WINDS also provides its registered Partners with a digital platform with free listings, which increases their online visibility and thus increases the likelihood of more Customers visiting their store. Not only this, with WINDS they can also put up their customized offers on the WINDS platform and increase their sales significantly by attracting Customers in their specific areas.

Q.5 : Can the same person be the Patron/Partner, Crown Captain or Senior Captain of WINDS?
Ans. Yes. One person can in fact, perform all these roles.

Q.6 : How long will it take for the WSP earned to be updated in the WINDS Partner app?
Ans. WSP will be updated immediately.

Q.7 : What are the responsibilities to be borne by a WINDS Partner?
Ans. The main responsibilities of a WINDS Partner would be to agree to pay the Service Charge to WINDS on every transaction done through the platform as well as ensure quality service and products to all WINDS Patrons (The Customers), encourage them to use more of the WINDS App and create exciting offers and promotions for all of them. Overall, they should be willing to adhere to all the terms & conditions as laid down by WINDS.

Q.8 : How long will the Partner agreement be valid and how can it be renewed after the expiry of the contract?
Ans. There is no validity limit set by WINDS for this Agreement. This will be for life, provided the terms and conditions are not breached in any way by the Winds Partner. It is also necessary to clarify here that if there is any breach of faith and the Terms and Conditions are violated by the WINDS Partner, WINDS reserves the right to terminate the contract forthwith.

Q.9 : What does the Partner need to do to receive his money if he wins in the Lucky Draw?
Ans. Once the prize has been won, it will reflect in the wallet option in the Partner's App. They will have to enter a withdrawal request and share as well as validate their bank account details. After the completion of this process, the said amount will be transferred to their respective bank accounts.

Q.10 : How will a Partner pay Service Charge?
Ans. When a WINDS Patron will make an online payment through the “Pay Now” feature on WINDS App after shopping through a WINDS Partner, then the Service Charge due to WINDS as per the Service Charge category of the Partner, will automatically be transferred to WINDS and the balance payment shall be transferred to the Partner. Example - If a Partner is registered in the 5% Service Charge category, then 5% of the payment made by the Patron will be transferred to WINDS and the rest 95% will be transferred to the Partner by the Payment Gateway.

Q.11 : Does WINDS have any customer support centre where all queries related to WINDS can be resolved?
Ans. Yes, all 3 WINDS Apps have a Customer Support option through Chat. Apart from this, one can get all their queries resolved in regards to WINDS through: Toll Free number- 1800 103 1032 or by sending an email at: support@winds.co.in.

Q.1 : Who are Patrons?
Ans. Customers of WINDS are known as WINDS Patrons. Specifically, any person who does any shopping or uses any service through the WINDS ecosystem will be termed a WINDS Patron.

Q.2 : Is it mandatory to use a referral code to become a WINDS Patron?
Ans. No, it is not mandatory.

Q.3 : Who can refer a Patron?
Ans. Patrons may be referred to WINDS by Crown Captains, Senior Captains or by other Patrons.

Q.4 : Can a WINDS Patron refer another Patron?
Ans. Yes. As WINDS Patrons, the more Patrons they refer to WINDS and encourage to make purchases through WINDS, the more profit will they earn.

Q5 : If a WINDS Patron refers another Patron, what benefits will they get as a referring Patron?
Ans. 10% of WINDS' Earnings through the shopping of a Referred Patron will be given to the Referring Patron. If PATRON B signs up using PATRON A's referral code, PATRON A will earn 10% of WINDS' Earnings on all transactions done by PATRON B through the WINDS App. (For instance, if PATRON B buys a laptop worth Rs. 1 lakh through the WINDS Partner, WINDS’ earning on the transaction will be 5% i.e. ₹ 5,000/- and PATRON A will get 10% of WINDS’ earning, i.e. ₹ 500/-).

Q6 : What is WRP?
Ans. WRP stands for WINDS Reward Points. Patrons get WRP on shopping at Nearby Partners (registered WINDS Partners), Online Shopping sites, by buying Vouchers and using utility bill payment options, through the WINDS App.

Q.7 : What is the minimum WRP a WINDS Patron needs to accumulate to participate in the monthly lucky draw?
Ans. 5000 WRP make for a coupon which enables the Patron to enter the Lucky Draw.

Q.8 : Can the same person be the Patron/Partner, Crown Captain or Senior Captain of WINDS?
Ans. Yes. The same person can in fact, perform all these roles.

Q.9 : What does a Patron need to do to participate in the WINDS Lucky Draw?
Ans. Every Rupee spent on the WINDS App by a Patron will earn them 1 WRP (except Bill Pay Utilities where fixed number of WRP are awarded as per spend slabs), they can collect more and more WRP on regular purchases/transactions through WINDS; 5000 WRP make for a coupon which enables the Patrons to enter 2 Draws - the MONTHLY REWARDS DRAW of ₹ 75 lakh every month exclusively for Patrons for which they qualify immediately with a 5000 WRP coupon and the MEGA BUMPER DRAW which will be held when the Patrons’ group size reaches 15 lakh qualifiers for whom there will be an additional ₹ 28 crore Mega Draw where the first prize will be ₹ 2 crore with more than 2 lac prize winners. When the group size increases to 30 lakh–45 lakh and goes up to 90 lakh Patrons, the Draw will go up to more than ₹ 168 Crore with the first prize of ₹ 10 crore; there will be more than 12 lac winners in that Draw.

Q.10 : If as a Patron I am able to accumulate only 4500 WRP in a month will I be able to participate in the Lucky Draw and if not, then what will happen to my WRP?
Ans. There is no time limit for collecting WRP. In a situation like this where you haven't been able to accumulate a minimum of 5000 WRP in a particular month, you need not get disheartened. Whenever you manage to collect 500 more WRP, you will be eligible to participate in the lucky draw. Also remember, after earning 5000 WRP, you will not only get a chance to participate in the regular Monthly Lucky Draw but also an opportunity to participate in the Mega Bumper Draw.

Q.11 : Does a Patron need to shop only with WINDS' Local Partners to get WRP?
Ans. No. Apart from these, they can also shop online through WINDS App or Website and access multiple online brands/affiliates/utility bill payment options, avail gift vouchers of their favourite brands and earn WRP through their transactions.

Q.12 : How soon will the WRP accumulated by me as a Patron get updated on the WINDS app?
Ans. WRP will update immediately. But it is also necessary to clarify here that if you have made purchases through online shopping sites, then once your order is tracked, you will get provisional WRP initially and within 60 to 90 days your WRP will be confirmed. Other than on purchases made through online shopping sites, your WRP will be updated instantly.

Q.13 : As a WINDS Patron, do I get the same WRP wherever I shop with WINDS?
Ans. No, when you shop through online shopping sites, buy vouchers of your favourite brands, or shop at nearby WINDS Partner outlets you get the same WRP i.e. 1 WRP for every 1 Rupee spent. However, while using the Utility Bill Payment option through WINDS you will get a fixed number of WRP depending upon the amount you have paid.

Q.14 : What do I need to do as a WINDS Patron to receive my money if I happen to win in the Lucky Draw?
Ans. After you have won the prize it will reflect in the wallet option in your Customer App. You will have to enter a withdrawal request and share as well as validate your bank account details. Once you have completed this process, the said amount will be transferred to your bank account.

Q.15 : How many people do I need to refer, to participate in the Lucky Draw as a Patron?
Ans. Referral is not mandatory to participate in the Lucky Draw. You can participate in the lucky draw simply by accumulating a minimum of 5000 WRP. But if you refer more and more friends, business associates or family members and they also shop through WINDS then you will get 10% of the total income earned by WINDS on their purchases as a referral benefit.
